Jim O’Callaghan calls for the introduction of legislation for women if their partner has a history of violence.

We need to introduce legislation where women can access information if they're in a new relationship with somebody, to see if their partner has a history of violence against a former partner.

I think men now recognise that negative comments, sexualised comments about women is unacceptable. Pornography now is distorting the perception of sexuality that young people have and we need to tell them and influence them that it's wrong.
